| Roland! |
This is Roland in all of his goofy glory. We aren't really mature enough to procreate, so we pretend that our dog is a hairy, mentally handicapped human child. Roland loves to eat string, sticks, his own hair, and pretty much any inconsistency in any surface. He also enjoys spending time with his friend Kurt, the parot who has learned to bark back at him and commonly gives him treats from his bowl.

| Kurt! |
Kurt is an African Grey parot who recently joined our household. Kurt loves to waddle, throw his food, and make kissing noises. He does enjoy the occasional wiley moment, in which he attempts to pull out an earring or chew on a nose, but all in all he is a nice guy. He has said hello only once, but loves to imitate anything other than human beings, including songs, our oven, and, of course, Roland.
